It is the individual’s responsibility to know the specific requirements of their state. State VMAs are blanket approved by most states for continuing education. As of February 27, 2024, ECVC is RACE-approved by the AAVSB. CE Broker Tracking #: 20-1096494.
Our Recent Graduate Program, brought to you in partnership with Hill’s, is a new program exclusively available to veterinarians that graduated in the years 2022, 2023, 2024. This registration type gets you access to the sessions listed under the Recent Graduate Program. If you would like to attend sessions outside of the Recent Graduate Program tracks, you must register at the full conference rate.
CE sessions start at 7:00am Thursday – Sunday. Sessions dismiss at 1:00pm Thursday – Saturday, and 11:40am on Sunday. Brunch is served Thursday – Saturday in the exhibit hall to keep you fueled up until lunchtime!
There is no CE on Wednesday, but please join us for the Exhibit Hall Grand Opening at 5:30pm!
Each day includes 5 hours of CE that you can attend. If you attend the entire conference, you could receive 20 hours for the DVM classes. For the technician/staff program on Saturday & Sunday, there would be a total of 10 hours.
The Grand Sandestin and Hotel Effie are the closest locations to the Baytowne Conference Center. They are attached and are less than a 5 minute walk to the conference center.
The Village and other Grand Complex buildings, including Lasata, Bahia, or Elation buildings are a 3-5 minute walk from the conference center.
All other locations will require transportation in order to reach the Baytowne Conference Center. Sandestin offers tram service between all Sandestin properties.
Consent To Use Photographic Images
Registration and attendance, or participation in, the Emerald Coast Veterinary Conference and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to ECVC to use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videos, electronic reproductions, marketing efforts and materials, and audiotapes of such events and activities.
Cancellation Policy
80% refund if received by April 23, 2024. No refunds will be given after April 23, 2024.
Pandemic Health & Safety
We continue to monitor local, state & federal guidelines related to COVID-19 and will comply with any health & safety regulations or recommendations at the time of the event. Your registration constitutes an agreement to abide by the policies set forth by the Emerald Coast Veterinary Conference as required or recommended by these authorities.
Continuing Education Credit
The registrant is responsible for ensuring that their attendance of the Emerald Coast Veterinary Conference (ECVC) will be accepted as continuing education credit for any and all licenses. ECVC is not responsible for ensuring that offered courses will fulfill any requirements of other organizations.

You can attend whichever classes you would like each day. We use the classes you chose at registration to give us an idea of room sizes for the more popular topics.

The following Monday after the conference, you will receive your CE certificate directly to the email you provided at registration. We will send pre-conference emails and CE certificates to all attendees at the email provided on the registration form, so be sure this is entered correctly!
We do not use the QR code on your badge to track session attendance – your CE certificate will list every session that happened at ECVC, and you select which ones you attended.
Everyone is welcome in the exhibit hall on Wednesday. However—after that— due to insurance requirements, the exhibit hall will only be open to registered attendees and partners/guests with badges. Badges for partners/guests and children over the age of 16 can be purchased at the registration desk (to cover the cost of the daily brunch). Children under 16 are not permitted in the exhibit hall Thursday – Sunday.
Absolutely! The golf tournament starts at 1:30 pm at the Baytowne Golf Course and everyone is welcome to register and play. We will include any golf tickets in the back of your badge when you register.
